Dibutyltin acetylacetonate (CAS 22673-19-4) is a highly efficient chelating tin catalyst, primarily used in two-component polyurethane crosslinking coatings (automotive paints, industrial paints) and room-temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber (especially one-component systems). It also acts as a heat stabilizer for transparent PVC products, improving heat resistance; and as a catalyst and intermediate in organic synthesis. Furthermore, it is used in MS polymer adhesives and sealants, optimizing curing efficiency and product mechanical properties, making it suitable for high-end industrial applications.
